1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using socialize.ee you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old. You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
3. Your account
One person, one account. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Notify us at hello@socialize.ee if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• post illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit or misleading content;
• impersonate another person, business or venue;
• scrape, copy or republish content from other members without permission;
• use the service to send unsolicited commercial messages;
• try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the platform.
See the Community guidelines at /community-guidelines for the full list.
5. Events and venues
Events are organised by members. Costs (food, drinks, tickets) are paid directly to the venue, not through Socialize Tallinn. We do not act as an agent and we are not a party to any agreement between members or between members and venues.
6. Classifieds
The classifieds section is provided as-is. We are not party to any sale. Verify the item, the seller and the payment method before sending money. Never pay outside a method you trust.
7. Content ownership
You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting, you grant Socialize Tallinn a non-exclusive worldwide licence to host, display and distribute the content as needed to run the service.
8. Moderation
We may remove content, suspend or ban accounts that break these terms or the Community guidelines, with or without notice. Three serious strikes result in a permanent ban.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Socialize Tallinn is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profit or harm caused by another member or venue.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus).
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site at least 14 days before they take effect.
